The Danish pig genetics company Danish Pig Genetics has ambitions to lead the development of genetics on a global level

Since its formation in 2018, Danish Genetics has had a strong development both genetically in the breeding program and commercially. A solid foundation has been created to strive for even stronger growth, by being represented further globally within a short number of years, to the benefit of customers worldwide.

This requires capital, strong business partners and not least an even stronger organization represented globally. Therefore, Danish Genetics has chosen to initiate a process where the market is searched for external investors who want to join the growth journey.
The company has previously announced that it has an ambition to be among the largest pig breeding companies in the world. It is this ambition that is now being sped up, and there is a serious desire to put action behind it.

To ensure that the search for interested investors has a global reach, and that the process is run professionally, Danish Genetics has chosen Deloitte Corporate Finance as a collaboration partner in the process.
In connection with the initiation of the above process, Danish Pig Genetics has strengthened its organization with the appointment of Jan Gerber as CEO. Jan Gerber has a thorough knowledge of Danish Genetics.

We are happy that Jan Gerber has agreed to this great challenge and look forward to the collaboration, says chairman of the board Steen Bødtker.
