Health status is a very important subject in our breeding program. This is why we require that our breeding program remains 100 % PRRS-negative. This means that all Danish Genetics-breeders have PRRS-negative herds, and that all boars at the AI station come from PRRS-negative breeding herds.
AI Station Mors is a crucial partner in the process to maintain this high status of health. At the AI station we find separate Danish Genetics housing. The housing is unique in Denmark as UVC lighning is installed to prevent PRRS infections and to increase infection control.
We also perform a comprehensive test program in our AI Stations e.g., weekly PCR testing.
