To strengthen the board Danish Pig Genetics has chosen two new external board members, Steen Agerbo Bødtker and Jytte Rosenmaj. Former chairman of the board, Mads Kring, is ready to pass on the title.
Two new external board members has recently been chosen for the board of the Danish breeding company, Danish Pig Genetics. The two members are Jytte Rosenmaj and Steen Agerbo Bødtker who both possess strategic and international experience from CEO positions and board memberships. The board has been constituted with Steen Agerbo Bødtker as chairman of the board and Mads Kring as Vice Chairman. And according to the recent chairman this development comes at the perfect time.
”We are very proud to present the newly constituted board. We have created an incredibly strong foundation for Danish Genetics both genetically and commercially. Therefor it comes quite naturally for us to strengthen the board with strong external competencies and to pass on the chairman position based on a string of strong results to Steen Bødtker,” says Vice Chairman, Mads Kring.
Also the new Chairman is looking forward to the task.

Both Steen and Jytte have great experience within different fields where they have obtained both strategic and international experience.
Steen Agerbo Bødtker is the CEO of the industrial company DAFA. Through his work Steen has achieved great experience in leading international businesses with foreign subsidiaries and board experience from many years of board work as both chairman and member. Jytte Rosenmaj is the founder and co-owner of Idavang, a larger plant breeding and pig production in Russia. Furthermore, Jytte is the chairman of the board at Danish Farmers Abroad and a member of the board at Premium Pork International A/S I Romania that has a pig production with 20.000 sows.
Danish Pig Genetics has since the beginning shown a determined and committed vision for the company. Through several groundbreaking research projects and large growth through the past year the breeding company has shown great ambition.
